You Had Me At Rosé... Kicking Off Summer With Aria Rose

National Rosé Day Officially Kicks Off Aria Rose Summer

Ah, rosé. I don't know about you, but sipping on rosé reminds me of those warm summer days where my friends and I would gather at an NYC rooftop, forget all of the troubles that the work week brought us and just enjoy each other's company.

Not only does sipping on the gorgeous pink drink bring people together, but it marks the beginning of summer.

To kick off summer and celebrate National Rosé Day, we have a fun blog post lined up for you. Sit back, grab your rosé and find out how to make the best indoor picnic when it's hot outside, our top 5 favorite rosés to drink and ways we are going to make your summer oh-so-sweet.

ESSENTIALS FOR A CHIC SUMMER PICNIC:

Pink Embossed Goblets: it doesn't get any more chic than this. Pour your pink rosé in this glass and feel refined + fabulous... because that's what you are.

Chic Picnic Basket: you can't go wrong with a picnic basket. This white one that we used for the shoot was chic and came with plates, napkins, utensils and cups. Win-win!

Blankets + Pillows: because #comfort.

Speaker: we had a dance party at our picnic and it has quickly become an essential for all picnics. Throw on your favorite tunes and jam with your friends.

Charcuterie Board: chances are, you'll get hungry. Have one of your friends make a charcuterie board for the group and bring it with you! It pairs great with rosé.

OUR TOP 5 ROSÉS:

Miraval: acidic with bright notes of strawberry and lemon

Whispering Angel: refreshing, juicy, berry and fruit flavor; not overly sweet

Summer Water: light-bodied

Korbel Brut Rosé: strawberry and black cherry flavors; flavorful and aromatic

Cote de Roses: fresh and fruity, not too sweet and not too dry (and the prettiest packaging)

WAYS TO MAKE YOUR SUMMER SWEET:

We know that it's a weird world we're living in right now. Things have changed and we're all trying to pivot, evolve and adapt. To sweeten your summer, we've rounded up 5 of our favorite ways to make your summer sweet.

Bake at home with your best friend: this is a fun way to avoid the extreme heat and have fun (and eat yummy treats!).

Go to the beach: there's nothing like sand under your feet and salt in your hair.

Have an outdoor movie night: this is an easy and fun way to have date night or GNO! Get a portable projector, a Bluetooth speaker and a projector screen.

Go bike riding or rollerblading: there's nothing like a good workout and some sweet sunshine.

Road trip: road trips are relatively inexpensive and a great way to get out of the town or city you live in and explore new areas. Whether it's a beach vacation or a vacation to just sit and do nothing, do it. You'll come back feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the world.

Spend your summer with people who make you smile and surround yourself with people who lift you up. Oh, and drink rosé.
